Hey everyone! Its been awhile since I've updated everyone on the happenings in our life, so I thought I would stop by with some news. We've been busy working, and cleaning up the yard from the winter. We had a rough winter this year so we had a lot of debris, and trimming that needed to be done. Andre has been working hard, and the lawn is really starting to take shape. We took a drive to the John Deere dealer to check out a mower, and of course it was man heaven! We are looking to get a mower that can have the snow blower attachment so when it snows this winter it won't be such a chore to move it off the driveway.
Mother's day was spent with friends, we had a monster breakfast, and then spent the day visiting. It was a great day spent with friends, relaxing.
Andre had a birthday on May 6th, we enjoyed dinner at the Longhorn, and then came home to watch a movie. This past weekend, we took in the the movie Star Trek, and enjoyed it very much.I wanted to take him for his birthday, but it was opening weekend, and neither one of us like the crowds so we waited until this past weekend to go. I would see it again, and it is on my list to buy when it comes out on DVD.
Jennifer, and her boyfriend Ron will be coming for a visit in June. They will be here for Jen's birthday, and of course there will be lobster! We are excited to meet Ron, this will be our first time meeting him in person. We chat on the phone, and we already like him very much! Jen is very happy, and we are happy to see her that way. We will be hanging out with the two of them, and sharing New Hampshire with Ron while they are here.
August is going to be a busy month for us, we have plans to go to Ohio to visit our 4 granddaughter's. We are so excited to see them, they have grown so much since we last saw them in October last year. Sophia will be the biggest surprise, she will be almost 10 months old! We are also going to Indiana to see our 2 grandson's. We plan on visiting the Indiana State Fair while we are there, it looks like it will be a great thing to do; especially with our grandkids! We always have a lot of fun when we visit the children, and grandchildren. It is just amazing how much they grow when you don't gt to see them everyday!
