Happy St Patrick's Day!

Okay, I have been away for awhile so I will see if I can update you on our life. Winter has not been kind to New Hampshire, we have had more than our fair share of winter! This winter has taken its toll on our trees and our house in the form of some VERY high winds. We've had an average snowfall, but we have also had snowstorms packing hurricane force winds. Spring is in the air, and with it comes the promise of rain. This week we had a rain storm that dumped a lot of rain on us and flooded most of the state. Babbling brooks and streams are now raging angry rivers that have yet to recede. The people of New Hampshire are pretty resilient so they will do what they have to, to rebuild and clean up the aftermath. Human nature is survival, it is one of the best things about being human.
I have recently applied to work in the communications center here in town and I will be working for them on-call for now. I still work at Hollis, but this is the town I live in and its nice to be able to get to know the people of this town. I will be doing some training for them too, which is another part of my job that I really enjoy. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
I've recently decided to make a trip home to visit my family. Sabrina and her family will be joining me, and I am still waiting to hear from Nicks wife Amber whether or not they will be joining us with my 4 granddaughters. I have not been home in awhile, and I am looking forward to seeing all of my family. I plan on showing my kids around my home town and sharing the highlights of the state with them. There will lots of pictures to share with everyone when I get back.
I've started my second book, I have 8 chapters written and it is coming along well. I find myself taking more time to read what I am writing so I won't have as much to edit later! I want my story to flow and be enjoyable for everyone. I will keep you updated with my progress.
I want to wish everyone a Happy St Patrick's Day! May the luck of the Irish be with you!
